Come Join the Goats!

The Goats are one of nine father-daughter clubs that make up Bear Nation, one of the largest and most active groups within YMCA Adventure Clubs in North County San Diego.

Our goal is simple: get dads and daughters outside, having fun, and making memories together.

From camping under the stars and cooking meals around the campfire to family adventures, service projects, and longtime Goats traditions, there’s always something to look forward to. Along the way, dads and daughters grow closer, daughters build friendships with girls their age, and dads discover a great community of other fathers who quickly become friends.

And the best part? You don't have to be a camping expert to be a Goat.

Never pitched a tent? No problem. Can't tell a camp stove from a coffee maker? We've got you covered. Experienced Goat dads are always happy to lend a hand, share equipment, help set up camp, and make sure new families feel right at home.

Our campouts are about having fun—not stressing over the details. We share incredible meals, gear, laughs, stories, and plenty of time around the campfire. You show up with your daughter and a sense of adventure; we'll help take care of the rest.

Camping With The Goats

We blend the joy of father daughter camping with days filled with outdoor activities, art, hiking, performances and adventures with new friends and amazing food. Evenings around the fire spark reflection, laughter, and a deep sense of belonging.

Campouts are designed to be fun—not stressful. Shared meals, community equipment, and experienced Goat dads are always there to help, making it easy for new families to join the adventure with confidence.
